The Morning Routine

Quick and dirty: our favorite morning rituals to set you up for badassladybossing!

It’s important to have a morning routine. Every morning, I :


  • Meditate for 30 minutes
  • Write down 8 things I’m thankful for
  • Look at my calendar and think of how to mentally / physically prepare myself
  • Chant “I am a badass” in the mirror
  • Listen to an educational podcast
  • Get my 10 minutes of DuoLingo in
  • Journal
  • Work out for 45 minutes
  • Eat a freshly prepared breakfast – egg whites or smoothie
  • Work on my “side hustle” for one hour
  • Have “me” time – dedicated to writing
  • Then I track everything in an app


…. And by the time I’m done it’s 4pm. It’s not about taking every piece of advice that’s given to you. Or worse – feeling bad when you can’t measure up to unrealistic expectations. You have to start your day – and end your day – in a way that’s productive, helpful, and most of all, authentic for YOU, for you to feel successful.
